KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Dr. Rusmini Ku Ahmad holds a doctorate degree in Educational Management, Universiti Utara Malaysia (2006). Her involvement in the public service sector began as an academic teacher in 1991 until 2001 before being offered as a lecturer at the Aminuddin Baki Institute North Branch (IABCU). After nearly 15 years of service at IABCU holding the position of the Head of Department and Senior Lecturer, she was appointed as Director, Center for Development and Innovation at the Institute of Teacher Education Malaysia (IPGM). Her commitment and excellence in service that she has shown given confidence to the top management of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) to later appoint her as the Deputy Rector of IPGM in 2017. A year later, she led IPGM as the Rector until now.

Dr. Rusmini always strives to enhance her field of professionalism by engaging with writing and publishing. To date, she has produced four (4) books on school development and excellence as well as writing articles for publication in academic journals. Besides, she also actively attends conventions or seminars to present her research papers both locally and abroad.

In recognising and appreciating her excellence, Dr. Rusmini was given the Outstanding Service Award in 1998, 2006, and 2020 from the MOE. In fact, her excellence also received attention from the private sector when she received the Sime Darby Foundation Scholarship Award in 2020. As an individual who was also involved in the delivery of training, she was awarded as a Certified Master Trainer (Specialist Trainer and Coach) in 2012.
Prof. Dr. Bambang Budi Wiyono
Prof. Dr. Bambang Budi Wiyono graduated with a Bachelor of Education Administration in 1989 and then continued his Master degree (1997) and Doctoral degree studies (2007) in Educational Assessment and Research from the University of Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

After being awarded his Doctoral degree, he started working as a lecturer at the University of Malang in 2007. While working there, he was assigned as the Head of Quality Assurance Unit under the Department of Education Administration (2007). He was also appointed as the Head of Department for the Department of Education Administration from 2008 to 2011 and as well as the Coordinator for Postgraduate Program in 2011. In addition, he was also one of the Panel of Assessors for the Certification and Performance of Lecturers from 2012 (till present). Prof. Dr. Bambang Budi Wiyono was then appointed as Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs, Faculty of Education from 2011 to 2014. From 2015 until now, he was entrusted to be the Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Malang, Indonesia.

In the academic field, Prof. Dr. Bambang Budi Wiyono is a lecturer under the Department of Education Administration and is actively involved in teaching in the field of education administration and management. The main subjects of his expertise include fundamental classes of management and leadership, teaching and learning, research and evaluation in education and change management.

He is also heavily involved in conducting research work and also produces scholarly writing in the form of journals, textbooks and reference books. Based on his interests in writing, he focuses a lot on the field of leadership development and educational management. He is often invited to be a coach, mentor and even sharing knowledge and skills by being a presenter, speaker or keynote speaker in various local and international conferences and educational seminars from within and outside the country.
Mr. Naharudeen Bin Othman has a master's degree in Principalship from the University of Malaya, 2009, and a diploma in National Professional Qualification Program for Educational Leaders (NPQEL), from IAB. His involvement in the public service sector began as a teacher in 1994 at SMK Belaga, Sarawak. After that, his next appointment was as a full-time sports coach at Bukit Jalil Sports School, Kuala Lumpur (1998), and Bandar Penawar Sports School, Johor (2005). He became involved in management when appointed as Senior Assistant Co-Curriculum and Senior Assistant for Student Affairs at Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman (STAR), Ipoh. His experience in management qualified him to be appointed as the principal in 2014 at SMK Changkat Lada, Bandar Seberang, Perak. He was then awarded as Pengetua Cemerlang (Excellent Principal) later that year. He served at SMK Sultan Yussuf, Batu Gajah, and SMS Teluk Intan, Bagan Datuk, before being appointed as a Director at JPN Perlis from 2020 until the present.
Mr. Naharudeen made outstanding contributions during his tenure as principal, including introducing several high-impact programs such as The Moving School Concept, and Speech Day programs, which the Tuanku Permaisuri Raja Perak attended. Due to his keen interest in rugby, he was appointed as the director of IRANZ@Malaysia, a franchise of the New Zealand rugby academy in Malaysia. He is also actively involved in writing and publication such as books and articles published in various academic journals.
In recognition and appreciation of his excellent work, Mr. Naharudeen has received the Outstanding Service Award in 2002, 2006, 2013, and 2015. The qualifications and expertise that he has, both in the field of teaching professionalism and also the rugby community enable him to often receive invitations as a presenter, keynote speaker, and panelist in various programs.
